Hello February!...
January can seem such a grey, bleak month and so very long!...But there were some good bits within the dark clouds.
I like the idea of '52 weeks of Happy' that i've seen many bloggers taking part in...I know I'm a bit late, but i'll have a catch up. I saw a link from BunnyMummy's to Littlebirdie 's blog...I need some happy thoughts...
January's weeks...Enjoying bright daffodils, White Hyacinths and a lovely illustrated book from my Mother at Christmas called 'The painted garden'~ A year in words and watercolours by Mary Woodin. Lots of milky coffee's and snuggles with my Sweet pea. Walking in a hale storms on the School runs in this bitterly cold month was quite exciting!. Chatting with a good friend and arranging an Easter trip together.
My dear little Sweet pea all tucked up and snug today~ She has a very chesty cough and we have been to the doctors to get some meds.
I had a surprise 'Thank you' gift in the post...Lovely Kandi had sent me a lovely 'belle & boo' mug and other little gifts to say thanks for the giveaway 'Granny chic' book she had won on an earlier post of mine.
The rain is falling heavily today...
Hope its a Sunny February where you all are,
x Kazzy x

Hope your daughter is better soon, your flowers look gorgeous, I'm still waiting for the daffodils to come into the shops, then I'm going to treat myself to a big bunch! :) x
ReplyDeleteThe sun might be shining here in Wiltshire but that's just a trick to lull you into thinking its nice out - the wind is icey. So what alternative is there but to stay inside where it is snug and warm? I hope your daughter feels better soon. Philippa xx

Rain is falling all around, it would seem, Kazzy. I hope that Sweet Pea feels better soon, and that you feel a bit happier ... this gloomy weather is really no help in lifting the spirits. I love the little dog ... Ruby has that look on her face when she's been caught sleeping on the beds!

ReplyDeleteLovely photos, so full of colour and warmth. I hope your daughter feels better soon. I like February - it's a short month containing my birthday and pancake day, among other things, so two occassions that give me permission to eat lots. All good!
